Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional boba tea experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will play a key role in providing outstanding customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items in a fast-paced café environment. Your enthusiasm for coffee and commitment to quality will help foster a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including the preparation area, equipment, and customer seating areas.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our customers.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while managing time effectively during busy periods.
Skills
- Strong cash handling skills with experience in operating POS systems.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and an understanding of various coffee types is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices related to food handling.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash transactions and order processing.
- Sales skills to promote menu items effectively and enhance customer experience.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment while managing time effectively.
