Overview
Right now, we are only hiring for the weekends. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with team members to deliver quality food and exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area.
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations.
- Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Prepare coffee and other beverages as needed.
- Support team members in achieving sales goals through effective communication and teamwork.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or retail is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on food quality and presentation.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
