Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on preferences.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while serving drinks.
- Handle cash register operations and manage cash transactions responsibly.
- Stay updated on drink trends and techniques to enhance the beverage menu offerings.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is an advantage.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately are required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly during busy nightclub hours.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- A passion for brewing techniques and cocktail creation is highly desirable.
- Have/get a certification TIPS training
- English and Spanish speakers needed
