Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, managing bar inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and making recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service for all customers.
• Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and bar operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of basic math and retail math for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
• Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus.
• Ability to operate cash registers and point-of-sale systems effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required in a nightclub environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age in accordance with legal requirements for serving alcohol.
