Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean bar area, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with local laws.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting low stock levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary, including banquet events.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a nightclub or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with cocktail recipes and bartending techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.
