The Dispatcher plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth, timely, and high-quality execution of daily operations by providing accurate information, clear instructions, and maintaining continuous communication with management, staff, and customers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in customer service, dispatch, administration, or hospitality, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to customers by coordinating daily operations effectively.
- Establish check-in times, organize schedules, and ensure all necessary materials are prepared.
- Maintain open communication with staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Pay close attention to special instructions and details.
- Monitor local events, road closures, and traffic conditions to prevent service disruptions.
- Coordinate lunch orders and admissions with vendors.
- Regularly update the reservations system.
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with local roads and landmarks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
- Ability to build positive relationships with employees and customers in a professional and approachable manner.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to identify problems, gather information, and draw valid conclusions.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
