In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while promoting and selling beauty and cosmetic products. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance in selecting beauty products.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of various items.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of photography and videography.
- Demonstrate knowledge of social media usage.
- Maintain a well-organized beauty counter space.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems, ensuring efficient cashiering and cash handling.
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and assisting with restocking as needed.
- Engage with customers on social media platforms to promote products and drive traffic to the store.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on makeup application techniques and beauty trends.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally via phone and in-person, ensuring excellent communication skills are utilized.
- Adhere to schedules and timing.
- Leaving worksite to run errands.
Requirements
- Previous experience with beauty products
- Familiarity with store software such as square or acuity scheduling is a plus.
- Knowledge of cosmetology principles is advantageous for providing expert advice to customers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in basic math for handling transactions and retail math calculations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette.
- Ability to perform makeup application techniques confidently for product demonstrations.
- Reliable transportation
