Job Description
Genesis Behavior Center, Inc. seeking to fill the position of a Behavior Consultant.
- Responsible for assessment and development of individualized programs for each child.
- Analyzes data and troubleshoots lessons not progressing as desired.
- Evaluates and adjusts goals and objectives as necessary.
- Tracks and guides generalization of skills and progression of lessons.
- Writes and presents reports for parents and funding sources.
- Attends weekly/monthly meetings with each child's team of parents and Behavior Therapists, Behavior Consultant, and Clinical Supervisor as well as direct consultation to parents and teachers.
- Works directly with representatives from the regional center and/or school districts/SELPAs.
- This position is part-time, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role.
Applicant must be able to travel within the Stockton area. This is a position working in the clients home in the Stockton area and in the Genesis clinic located in 81 West March Lane Stockton CA. Desirable compensation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher with experience in ABA, psychology, Special Education, or related field
- At least one year of management or supervisory experience in a behavior intervention program.
- Experience in working directly with and/or training others in working with children with Autism or developmental disorders for a minimum of one year.
- Ability to critically analyze, supervise, support, and train others.
