Position Overview
We are currently seeking a compassionate and committed Behavior Technician to provide personalized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy. In this role, you’ll work directly with children diagnosed with autism and developmental delays to help them build essential skills for independence, social interaction, and daily life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct ABA services during daily home routines, play sessions, and community involvement
- Foster developmental growth and independent functioning through structured therapy exercises
- Carry out behavioral strategies developed by the BCBA supervisor and share insights when needed
- Precisely track client progress by recording data and maintaining session documentation
- Stay in consistent contact with your supervising BCBA and participate in required training and oversight
- Follow all HIPAA standards to safeguard client privacy and maintain a safe therapeutic environment
- Offer light household assistance or transportation support when applicable
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, remain active, and respond quickly as needed
- Comfortable commuting up to 30 minutes to client locations
- Willing to earn Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 90 days (training provided)
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
