Behavior Technician

The Behavior Technician provides one-on-one instruction to children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Implement the individualized treatment plan programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis;
• Collect and submit data;
• Complete and submit session notes and billing information;
• Assist in the implementation of assessments and behavior plans (as applicable);
• Attend all scheduled sessions, meetings, and trainings;
• Communicate clearly and professionally with families, caregivers, and colleagues;
• Maintain professional relationships and boundaries with families;
• Participate in keeping all work areas clean and clutter free
• Maintain confidentiality of all client records and information; and
• Other relevant duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, education, or a related field, preferred
• At least six months of applied behavior analysis experience or enrolled in ABA coursework;
• Knowledge and experience working with autistic individuals preferred;
• Valid driver’s license;
• Vehicle and clean driving record; and
• Have successfully passed a BCI and/or CORI

Currently looking for the following summers hours (this can be flexible to fit the right candidate):

- 10-3 M/Tu/F

- 9-2 W/Th

** Bi-lingual in Haitian Creole is preferred, but not required

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
