Job Summary
Mindful Behavioral Health is seeking a motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Sales Representative to expand our patient referral network. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented relationship-builder who can effectively communicate the value of our mental and behavioral health services to Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted living facilities and Independent living facilities. This role is vital to increasing access to care and supporting our clinic's mission.
Key responsibilities
- Build referral relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted living facilities and Independent living facilities and other community partners.
- Generate new business: Conduct outreach through cold calls, in-person visits, and educational presentations to introduce and promote the clinic's programs and services to new referral sources.
- Educate the community: Deliver presentations and informational sessions to healthcare professionals and community groups to raise awareness of the clinic's treatment offerings and admission process.
- Strategic planning: Work with leadership to develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the clinic's business objectives and targets key referral demographics.
- Meet targets: Achieve and exceed patient referral and admission goals for all assigned programs and services.
- Market analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and changes in the behavioral health landscape to identify new business opportunities.
- Relationship management: Act as a primary point of contact for referral sources, addressing concerns and ensuring a smooth and efficient admissions process for referred patients.
- Maintain records: Utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to log sales activities, track referral information, and report progress to management.
- Represent the clinic: Attend industry conferences, networking events, and community functions to build brand reputation and professional relationships.
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in a healthcare sales, business development, or clinical outreach role, preferably within the behavioral health.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clinicians and administrators.
- A solid understanding of the local healthcare market and referral base.
- A strong, ethical sales approach with a passion for helping people access necessary mental health services.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to manage a sales territory.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
Work environment
- This is a field-based role, requiring significant local travel to meet with potential and existing referral partners.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
