Bellman/Guest Services Runner: $20/hr.
What you will be doing
- Greet all guests arriving and departing the hotel. Ensure guests feel welcome to the hotel, and provide excellent guest service.
- Carry baggage to the guest's room. Accurately tag and store luggage for guests as needed and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing luggage.
- Know about the hotel property, hotel staff, and hotel services, with hours of operation. Give clear and accurate directions to hotel facilities and rooms, as well as local area attractions.
- Suggest and "sell" the amenities of the hotel (i.e, restaurant, etc).
- Respond to requests for bell/guest assistance within 15 minutes.
- Assist when necessary, with transportation requests (taxi, local public transportation, etc.)
What we are looking for
- High work ethic and self-initiative, ability to work in high-pressure situations.
- May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proven experience with strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle guest complaints and/or concerns.
- Someone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests!
