About Us:
Fluid Focus, LLC is a leader in the mountain bike suspension tuning industry. We custom tune and rebuild suspension for riders across the United States and develop our own high-performance piston kits, sold worldwide. In addition, we own Super Alloy Racing, a premium aftermarket mountain bike coil spring company.
We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented individual to join our team. While suspension experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude.
Compensation:
- Pay is based on suspension experience.
- If you are a bicycle mechanic making top dollar but have no suspension rebuilding experience, please understand your starting wage will reflect your current suspension skill level.
Job Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Work with all makes and models of mountain bike suspension products.
- Understand suspension function and adjustments.
- Retain Information
- Rebuild suspension products to manufacturer specifications.
- Follow directions accurately and consistently.
- Advise customers honestly on the best tuning or service options.
- Check customers in/out.
- Answer phone calls and emails in a timely, professional manner.
- Process payments.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general shop duties.
- Assist customers with product information, pricing, and order placement.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Resolve customer concerns or escalate to management when needed.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of mountain bike suspension products preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Previous experience in customer service, clerical work, or a bike shop is preferred.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
