We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on person to join our bike rental team for weekend shifts. You’ll manage rentals, deliver and pick up bikes nearby, do light maintenance, and help customers feel confident riding cargo bikes and actively help grow the business by promoting our rentals in busy areas.
Responsibilities:
- Manage rental bookings and coordinate with customers for pickup/drop off
- Deliver and pick up bikes locally
- Perform basic bike repairs (fix flats, tighten bolts, adjust brakes, etc.)
- Teach customers how to ride and safely operate cargo bikes
- Keep bikes clean, functional, and ready for use
- Promote our service by approaching potential customers in tourist areas, distributing flyers, and answering questions about the rentals
Requirements:
- Available to work Saturdays and Sundays (daytime hours)
- Comfortable riding and maneuvering bikes (we will teach how to ride cargo bikes)
- Basic mechanical skills preferred
- Friendly and clear communicator
- Physically able to lift bikes (up to ~70 lbs)
- Reliable and organized
- Able to perform sales
