The Home Care Coordinator is responsible for managing and scheduling home health aides to ensure clients receive timely, high-quality care. This role involves coordinating daily assignments, maintaining communication between clients, caregivers, and supervisors, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and state regulations. The Coordinator also assists with staffing needs, intake calls, and resolving issues promptly to support client satisfaction and caregiver performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and assign caregivers to client cases
- Handle last-minute call-outs and provide on-call support as needed
- Communicate with clients and families to address concerns or updates
- Ensure compliance with documentation, attendance, and agency policies
- Collaborate with nursing staff and supervisors to meet client care needs
Qualifications:
- Experience in home care, healthcare, or scheduling preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with scheduling software or mobile apps a plus
- Needs to be bilingual with English and Spanish
