This isn't your average "answer the phone" gig. You'll be the linchpin, the problem-solver, the go-to guru who keeps everything humming from order submission to delivery. You'll be the bridge between our awesome customers and our internal rockstars, making sure every interaction is nothing short of amazing.
What You'll Be Conquering:
- Order Alchemist: Juggle orders from every channel imaginable, turning them into perfectly processed shipments with speed and a positive attitude.
- Communication Chameleon: Masterfully update everyone from the customer service crew to the warehouse warriors on order status, stock mysteries, shipping adventures, and any unexpected detours.
- Efficiency Expert: Spot ways to make our order process even smoother, then team up with the manager to make those awesome ideas a reality.
- Team Liaison Extraordinaire: Be the main point person, ensuring orders are executed flawlessly and everyone's on the same page.
- Return-to-Vendor Resolver: Help sort out RTVs and credits like a financial detective, keeping discrepancies at bay.
- EDI Jedi: Import/export EDI orders using Truecommerce (856 and 810 transmissions) – bonus points if you speak fluent EDI!
What We're Looking For:
- Bilingual brilliance (a must-have superpower!) English and Spanish
- At least 1 year of experience in Customer Service, Distribution Operations, or Order Management.
- EDI experience? YES! (This is non-negotiable!)
- Excel whiz and comfy with systems like Ekon and Word.
- Logistics savvy (order processing, warehouse vibes, inventory wizardry).
- A natural at building relationships (even with global teams!).
- Project management and problem-solving are your middle names.
- You're detail-oriented, love to follow up, and can multitask like a pro in a fast-paced world.
