Through this pivotal role, you will support and guide families in navigating services and achieving their goals. Your ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish will be essential in creating an inclusive environment and serving our diverse community. This role honors the dignity, strengths, and unique goals of each family, helping them overcome barriers, identify paths forward and access the resources they need to thrive.
When you work as the “Front-end Receptionist” you are the welcoming voice and face of our organization to every person who steps through our doors or calls on the phone. You navigate the path to exceptional service and ensure that every person feels welcomed, valued and receives exceptional service. You ensure that the reason for people’s visit/call is understood and then navigate people accordingly. You assist in establishing the tone and atmosphere of the lobby environment, creating & maintaining a space that supports the vision and mission of the organization. Your ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish will be essential in creating an inclusive environment and serving our diverse community.
Bachelor's or Associate's degree and/or experience working with diverse families in a coaching or case management setting . Excellent communication skills. Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills that can welcome someone into our space. Ability to remain calm and empathetic when dealing with individuals with complex needs. A belief that every person is valuable and a commitment to equity and inclusion and treating all people with respect and dignity. A commitment to providing coaching support that assists individuals in meeting their short-term needs and long-term goals. Team oriented.
