The Billing/Purchasing Associate will:
- Communicate with the Service Manager daily to assist in scheduling repairs.
- Coordinate with Procurement to order needed materials to complete the quoted repairs.
- Consistently inquire about open quotes with customers, and make adjustments based on customer feedback.
- Develop and build customer relationships through check-ups on past services, and by monitoring scheduled service and response times.
- Assist Service department in other areas as needed.
- Field service calls and emails in regard to quoted, scheduled repairs, emergency repairs, etc.
- Open repair orders and review for scheduled technicians prior to billing.
- Review repair orders for accuracy of labor hours, materials added, and invoicing.
- Review technicians' times for billing and payroll purposes.
- Submit warranty claims, track warrantable parts, and answer warranty questions in a timely manner.
- Create POs for Road Technicians in assigned territory.
- Answer technicians' questions regarding work order issues, mistakes or changes.
Position Requirements
- 0-3 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree ideally in business, logistics or supply chain management.
- Excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
- A team player mentality and willingness to work closely with others to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
