Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Piercer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of body art, exceptional customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. As a Piercer, you will play a crucial role in providing clients with high-quality piercing services while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform body piercings in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
- Sanitate all tools and workspaces before and after each procedure to ensure a clean environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, answer questions, and provide aftercare instructions.
- Illustrate the benefits of different piercing options and jewelry styles to assist clients in making informed decisions.
- Maintain inventory of piercing supplies and assist with store management tasks as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in body art, including color theory and tattooing techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Piercer or in a similar role within the body art industry.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and first aid procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to illustrate designs or concepts related to piercings is preferred.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus.
- A passion for body art, including tattooing, is desirable.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
