We’re a small business in need of temporary bookkeeping support to help us get organized and set up properly in QuickBooks. This is a freelance/consulting opportunity — perfect for someone experienced who’s available to train and guide us through the setup.
What We Need Help With:
- Connecting and syncing QuickBooks Online with our business bank accounts
- Training us on how to use QuickBooks efficiently for monthly bookkeeping
- Helping us understand sales tax setup and payment
- Offering ongoing consultation as needed (monthly check-ins or quick support)
About the Job:
- This is a temporary consulting role, not a full-time position
- We’re offering $50/hour for setup, training, and ongoing support
- Ideally looking for someone available ASAP
- Work can be remote, but preference given to someone familiar with California or San Diego-specific requirements
You Should Have:
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
- Ability to clearly explain bookkeeping and tax processes to non-accountants
- Previous experience helping small businesses or startups is a big plus
- A professional, reliable attitude — we’ve already tried a few people who weren’t serious
