We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Duties:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable invoicing and cash receipts/disbursements.
- Perform monthly bank account reconciliations and customer/vendor statements.
- Customer credit card processing.
- Process weekly payroll with ADP.
- Monthly Sales/Use Tax filings as required.
- File Annual Workers Compensation Audit.
- Answering telephone calls.
- Maintain order tracking files for employees working from home.
- Collaborate with Company CPA on an ongoing basis.
Skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of debits and credits
- Knowledge of payroll procedures
- Experience with account analysis and reconciliation
- Familiarity with various accounting areas such as corporate and governmental accounting
