Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our branch team in delivering exceptional member service, driving branch growth, and ensuring operational excellence. The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily branch operations, developing and coaching staff, achieving sales and service goals, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational policies. This role plays a vital part in building strong member and community relationships while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment that reflects the values of our credit union.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate branch staff to achieve operational excellence, service, and meet performance goals.
- Provide ongoing training, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.

- Oversee daily branch activities, including cash operations, audits, security, and facilities management.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in transaction processing and account servicing.
- Monitor branch performance metrics, staffing schedules, and workflow efficiency.
- Deliver and model exceptional member service by resolving complex issues and handling escalations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members, identifying opportunities to improve their financial well-being.
- Promote a culture of trust, confidentiality, and member-first service.
- Execute branch growth strategies to meet sales, lending, and service goals.
- Lead cross-selling efforts to connect members with credit union products and services.
- Represent the credit union in the community by participating in outreach, events, and networking.
- Ensure compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (BSA/AML, OFAC, etc.).
- Safeguard confidential information and reinforce staff accountability to compliance standards.
- Provide input to senior management regarding branch performance and member needs.
- Support organizational initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in financial services, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role with a strong emphasis on leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of banking/credit union products and services (deposits, loans, credit cards, online banking, etc.).
- Demonstrate ability to achieve sales and service goals while ensuring operational excellence.
- Working knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with core banking systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
