Summary
TheBreakfast Attendant role is to connect with guests at breakfast, ensuring guestsatisfaction, and prepare all Food and Beverage according to brand standards.The Breakfast Host will also be tasked with keeping the breakfast area stockedand clean at all times.

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities
- Provides personalized service to all guests.
- Regularly communicate and converse with allguest.
- Prepare food and beverages according torecipe.
- Fully understands and complies with all foodsafety requirements.
- Set up breakfast area before the guest beginto arrive; display the food and beverages in an organized and attractive manneraccording to brand standards/requirements.
- Efficiently replenishes buffet with food,beverages and/or supplies as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness of buffet areathroughout the morning by reorganizing and tidying food area as necessary.
- Properly disposes of used plates, utensils,napkins and/or cups as necessary.
- Responsible for keeping inventory stocked byordering additional food and/or supplies as needed.
- Respond quickly to guest requests in afriendly manner; follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintains regular attendance, isconsistently on time, and observes prescribed work, break and meal periods incompliance with standards.
- Maintains high standards of personalappearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
- Attend department meetings as scheduled.
- Consistent professional and positive attitudeand actions when communicating with guests and associates.
- Comply with policies and procedures. Practicesafe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergencyprocedures.
- Performs any other duties as requested bysupervisor.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Must have a minimum of 1 year FoodService experience, hotel setting strongly preferred. Thorough knowledge ofcustomer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective andprofessional written and verbal communications and have the ability to effectivelycommunicate with guests and team members.
Job Qualifications:
Education
High School Diploma, GED or related field
Experience
Minimum 1 year F&B service (Hotel industrypreferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses/Certifications
Must possess NYC FoodHandler certification.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, Associatesmay need to lift items up to 50 lbs. and spend a length of time on your feet.
