Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming breakfast experience, ensuring that our guests start their day off right. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Serve a variety of breakfast items, including coffee, pastries, fruits, and hot dishes.
- Maintain inventory of food and supplies, restocking as necessary throughout the service period.
- Assist guests with their breakfast needs, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including coffee machines and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in food preparation and handling.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, dining spaces, and equipment after service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of breakfast items.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with culinary practices and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic cash handling experience is beneficial for managing any transactions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must possess good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
