Job Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Breakfast Attendant to join our team at a charming inn in the heart of Newport. This role involves setting up and serving breakfast, assisting guests, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Shifts begin at 7:00 AM and last approximately 4–5 hours. Midweek and weekend availability is required.
This is a guest-facing position that offers a great work-life balance and the potential to earn excellent tips.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up buffet breakfast
- Greet guests warmly and assist with breakfast needs
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area (tables, counters, coffee station, etc.)
- Replenish food, drinks, and supplies as needed
- Clean-up duties after service ends
Requirements
- Must be punctual and dependable, with ability to start work at 7:00 AM
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Comfortable interacting with guests and working independently
- Prior hospitality or food service experience is a plusd
- Must be available to work weekends and midweek mornings
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
