Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our breakfast area is well-maintained, inviting, and stocked with a variety of delicious options for our guests. You will play a key role in creating a positive dining experience by providing excellent service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet with a variety of food items, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness in the breakfast area, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces.
- Assist guests with their breakfast needs, providing friendly and efficient service.
- Prepare food items as needed, adhering to food handling and safety guidelines.
- Operate cash registers or POS systems for any transactions related to breakfast services.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service.
- Support banquet or catering events as required, ensuring all food service meets quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of breakfast supplies and report any shortages to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is an advantage.
- Experience with cash registers or POS systems is beneficial.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
- Skills in food preparation or cooking are a plus, particularly for those interested in expanding their culinary knowledge.
