Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepares and serves hot breakfast for guests following company policies and procedures.
- Assembles the breakfast buffet before mealtime and disassembling it thereafter.
- Ensures that the breakfast buffet always remains well-stocked.
- Possesses adequate knowledge of the food being offered.
- Maintains the breakfast/lobby area in a clean and organized manner.
- Provides customers with condiments upon request.
- Offers assistance and superior service to guests throughout their stay.
- Observes diners to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been complete.
- Clears cutlery and crockery from customers' tables.
- Maintains the work area, including all counter tops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with state, county and company health regulations and work safety regulations.
- Sweeps, vacuums, and mops the floors after each meal service.
- Cleans and sanitizes tables and countertops after each meal service.
- Maintains high standard of personal hygiene in compliance with state, county, and company regulations.
- Assists in maintaining equipment used.
- Empties trash receptacles as needed and disposes of properly.
- Conducts accurate inventory of food items and calculates order levels.
- Stocks area of needed supplies and assists with storing products delivered to the hotel.
- Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
- Provides world-class guest service.

- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Hours:
- Due to the nature of the business, scheduling may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Restaurant or customer service experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements of the Position:
- Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 to 2/3 of the time), and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists up to 2/3 or most of the time) to move objects. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
- May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion.
Physical Activity of the Position:
- Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, picking/pinching with fingers, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motion.
Environmental Conditions:
- Inside: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. A job is considered “inside” if the worker spends approximately 75 percent or more of the time inside.
