Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant for the hotel to join our team. This is a dual roll Breakfast/Housekeeping. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment. This role requires a passion for food service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. The role requires public area clean up after Breakfast.
Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, including food stations and beverage stations.
- Ensure all food items are displayed attractively and are replenished as needed throughout the breakfast service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables, cleaning spills, and ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
- Assist guests with their needs, including answering questions about menu items and accommodating special requests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, including cooking simple items or preparing banquet-style presentations.
- Follow all food handling guidelines and safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Clean public areas.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to maintain a clean work environment and adhere to health regulations.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
