Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and maintaining the flow of service within the restaurant. A strong background in guest services and communication is essential for success in this role.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Handle guest relations with professionalism, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Support restaurant operations by assisting with takeout orders or other tasks as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in POS systems, including Aloha POS, is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience in guest services within hotel, restaurant, or food service environments is highly valued.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during busy periods.
- A passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable experiences.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage seating arrangements and reservations efficiently.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
