A Brief Overview:

The Automobile Wholesale Financing Business (aka Floor Plan Unit) Credit Analyst assists the Business Relationship Officers with their assigned accounts, preparing Credit Approval Memorandums, risk rating forms, relationship profitability analysis, industry analysis and monitors delinquency and compliance with covenants. The Analyst also monitors compliance with Bank Policies and Federal Regulations, as well as the accuracy and completeness of collateral and related documentation. Analyst may also assist supervisors in the preparation of presentations and other related tasks.


In addition, the Analyst assist the Relationship Officers and Manager through a range of tasks such as follow-up and processing of quarterly and FYE financial statements, follow-up and monitoring of insurance policies, property taxes, personal financial statements, etc.


What you’ll do:

  • Spreads historical financial statements, builds financial projections and sensitivity scenarios using Salesforce application.
  • Assists the Business Relationship Officer in conducting financial analysis for Credit Approval Memorandums.
  • Performs credit administration tasks including, periodic financial statement review, risk rating analysis, periodic review of collateral file, documentation covenant compliance and borrowing base review.
  • Prepares loan maintenance forms, obtains the required approvals and refers them to the respective business support units.
  • Assists RO’s with customer requests such as inquiries of floored units, status of letters of credit or flooring requests, among others.
  • Handles flooring requests from customers by gathering and reviewing the required paperwork as per our agreements and procedures and referring them to the RO for approval.
  • Monitors and gives follow-up on financial statements, insurance policies, property tax, etc.
  • Researches industry specific information from outside sources, which may include, industry publications, references from other banks, third party sources, as well as accessing information through the Internet.
  • Works closely with Relationship Officers (RO’s) to ensure timely completion of annual reviews on a timely basis and with the preparation/review of documentation.
  • Consistently provides high level customer service to minimize attrition, measured by responsiveness, work quality, product and process knowledge and professionalism. Maintains data and statistics on assigned accounts for Supervisor and Dept. Head and collaborates in the preparation of presentations.
  • Investigates or refers when appropriate client’s transaction claims.
  • Provides portfolio analysis as necessary and other tasks requested by Unit Manager.
  • Assists management in special projects.


What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting or finance
  • Two years of related experience preferred
  • Experience in analysis of financial statements, financial modeling and projections.

  • Financial report interpretation knowledge
  • Strong problem recognition and solutions skills
  • Superior proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and power Point).
  • Fully bilingual (English and Spanish) with excellent written and communication skills Strong Interpersonal communication skills.

  • Team work oriented
