Position: Business Development Specialist
FLSA Status: Full-time Exempt
Reports To: President
POSITION DESCRIPTION: This role requires a sales professional with a hunter mentality and approach to business development. Develop sales leads, qualify new clients, and sell professional services. Successful track record of securing new clients while expanding existing business with current clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop knowledge of products and services
- Prospect for new sales opportunities
- Engage in senior level customer meetings to discuss clients’ business issues and explore how Q4 Solutions can help their company
- Organize and track all outreach information in Q4 Solution’s CRM software
- Communicate with prospective customers using multiple channels for outreach
- Coordinate with Q4 Solutions’ personnel to prepare for and execute on sales meetings/calls with prospective customers
- Collaborate with the leadership team on sales presentations
- Engage prospects and sales targets via cold calling and lead generation efforts
- Building and nurturing relationships with both existing and potential clients
- Provide input and recommendations on marketing current products and services; how to improve, expand and accelerate business growth
- Assist in developing marketing materials and client presentations
- Proactive approach to helping the firm to grow revenue profitably
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required at all levels of an organization including the ability to communicate with peers, leadership, and clients
- Ability to create budgets, project plans, timelines and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other tools
- Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure
- Strong business acumen with a commercial and strategic orientation
- Results driven, work ethic, and a consistent focus on the bottom-line
- Flexible, solution-oriented team player who builds credibility and collaborates well with others
- Exceptional ability to build relationships and drive consensus with multiple constituents
- Ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility with sophisticated audiences

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a similar discipline
- 5+ years’ experience successfully selling professional services to mid-to-large clients
- Knowledge of professional services and experience selling professional services to Enterprise customers
- Active Campaign, customer experience platform experiences desirable, but not required
- Practical knowledge and skills in the art of negotiation
- Experience developing and improving processes
