Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develops, maintains, and monitors operational and specialized budgets, including unrestricted, restricted, Foundation, and scholarship funds.
  • Prepares financial reports and cost projections; identifies issues and takes corrective actions.
  • Ensures accurate processing of contracts and license agreements.
  • Reviews expenditures and authorizes purchases in alignment with goals and policies.
  • Serves as financial liaison for festivals, events, and guest artist activities.

  • Ensures strong internal controls and accurate financial data.
  • Maintains compliance with University, state, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinates with Procurement and Legal Counsel on contracts and service agreements.
  • Prepares and submits annual HEADS report data and enrollment analyses.

  • Maintains up-to-date faculty appointment records.
  • Processes summer compensation and part-time contracts.
  • Reviews and processes travel claims and employee reimbursements.

  • Oversees the Music Box Office revenue collection and reporting.
  • Provides cash handling oversight and training for student employees and assistants.

  • Prepares cost transfers, monitors compliance with Uniform Guidance.
  • Generates reports for planning and analysis using Banner and Excel.
