As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.
Duties
- Provide outstanding guest services by welcoming and seating customers promptly.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure all kitchen areas are sanitized according to health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
