Job Overview
As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our dining establishment. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Duties
- Transport food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables accurately and promptly
- Ensure all items on the order are delivered and inform the kitchen of any missing items
- Assist in bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain excellent customer service
- Help in food preparation or packaging when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred
- Familiarity with food handling procedures is a plus
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and terminology is beneficial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
