Overview
Pulcinella’s, a casual dining Italian restaurant, located at 1710 Shelburne Road in South Burlington, is looking to fulfill two part-time bussing/food runner positions. Available shifts are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Shifts begins at 6:00 PM and ends between 9:00 and 10:00 PM. No experience required. Candidates must have year round availability including around holidays. We are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and Super Bowl Sunday. Clearing and resetting tables, sorting and polishing silverware and glassware. Bread service, helping staff bring out food, make desserts and coffee drinks. Pay is $7.01/hr. with share of tips bringing total pay to a guaranteed $16/hr. for shifts worked Sunday-Thursday and guaranteed $18/hr. for shifts worked Fridays and Saturdays. Responsibilities
- Bussing and resetting tables
- Polishing glassware and silverware, bread service, dessert service, overall helping hand to service staff
- Communicating effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing any customer needs or inquiries promptly
- Handling food with care to maintain quality and presentation standards
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Hospitality or customer service experience is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and terminology is advantageous
