JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Food & Beverage busser/food expo responsibilities may include serving plates, glasses and silverware, refilling beverages and cleaning tables. The responsibilities also may include maintaining the flow of orders from waiters to the kitchen to diners, ensuring orders are completed quickly and correctly, assisting with the finishing touches on dishes, and conducting quality control on each dish.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Properly and quickly enter orders on the POS computer system.
- Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins from tables after diners are done eating.
- Wiping up water spills, food stains and dirt from tables.
- Straightening out the tablecloth or replacing stained ones.
- Replacing cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new diners.
- Refilling paper napkins, salt and pepper shakers and any other depleted condiments on the dining table.
- Refilling drinking glasses with water.
- Handling cleaning of the dining area at the close of day.
- Ensuring communication in the kitchen by calling out orders, getting the status on dishes, and calling the wait staff to serve completed dishes.
- Informing the waitstaff when certain dishes or ingredients have run out and passing food requests from the waitstaff to the kitchen.
- Monitoring the food portions on completed dishes according to restaurant standards.
- Ensuring that all orders are completed on time and with the correct priority.
- Inspecting the cleanliness, presentation, and temperature of completed dishes.
- Performing the finishing touches to completed dishes, such as adding garnishes and removing smudges.
- Keeping the cooking, storage, and prep areas clean, neat, and well-stocked.
- Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety standards.
- Assisting all staff as needed.
- Handling customer complaints on behalf of the kitchen staff and looking for solutions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Flexible scheduling availability including weekends, some holidays, overtime and double shifts.
- Excellent customer service and people skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food sanitation and safety policies.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent verbal communication.

- Tuesday - 10am-10pm
- Wednesday -10am-10pm
- Thursday - 10am-10pm
- Friday - 10am-12am
- Saturday - 10am-12am
- Sunday - 9am-9pm
SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY:
This position with Hot Rods and Handguns requires availability for any/all shifts as well as overtime, weekends, some holidays, and on call.

PAY: From $16.50 per hour
SHIFTS: Morning, afternoon & evening
