Duties
- Cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to specifications and customer requests.
- Ensure all meat products are handled in accordance with food safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to sanitation standards.
- Operate and maintain cutting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Package meat products for display or sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of meat items for various dishes.
- Monitor inventory levels of meat products and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in food production or culinary settings preferred.
