Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and finishing of cabinetry for custom van and truck camper conversions. Your craftsmanship and precision will play a vital role in ensuring all cabinetry meets the highest standards and specifications. As a key member of our production team, you will collaborate closely with others to create high-quality, functional, and visually appealing interiors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble and construct cabinets from raw materials, including cutting, shaping, and finishing wood or other materials to meet specified dimensions and designs.
- Install cabinets in vehicle conversions according to design specifications, ensuring alignment, fit, and structural integrity.
- Inspect completed cabinetry for accuracy, quality, and durability, making necessary adjustments and repairs as needed.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and accurately, including saws, drills, sanders, and other woodworking equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand layout and assembly instructions.
- Select and prepare materials, ensuring adequate stock and availability of necessary components.
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including PPE requirements, machine operation safety, and ergonomic practices.
- Work closely with other production staff, sharing responsibilities to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in woodworking or cabinetry At least 1 year of experience in cabinet making, woodworking, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, with a strong understanding of measurements, cutting, and installation techniques.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive movements.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work.
- Capable of troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cabinet assembly and installation.
Logistics:
This is an on-site role with standard hours of operation (9-5, 5 days per week).
