Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. This role involves creating beautiful cake designs that meet customer specifications, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. The Cake Decorator will work closely with our culinary team to produce delicious baked goods while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Design and decorate cakes according to customer orders and specifications, ensuring artistic presentation.
- Prepare various cake batters, icings, and fillings while adhering to food safety standards.
- Package finished products attractively for display or delivery.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely production of baked goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the decorating area, following all health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with clients regarding their cake preferences and custom orders.
- Assist in inventory management of baking supplies and ingredients as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cake decorating, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Background in food production or culinary arts is preferred; pastry experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various baking tools and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
