Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Entry level Calibration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement and control instruments used in various applications. You will utilize your expertise in electrical calibration and testing to detect issues, calibrate equipment, and maintain high standards of quality across our operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of electrical/mechanical instruments including voltmeters, ohmmeters, calipers, micrometer and mechanical equipment.
- Detect and troubleshoot discrepancies in measurement systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct field service calibrations for various equipment in diverse environments.
- Work with distributed control systems to ensure accurate readings and functionality.
- Maintain detailed records of calibration activities and results, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve calibration processes and instrumentation reliability.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians on best practices in calibration techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Calibration/ Electronic Technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of electrical principles and calibration techniques.
- Proficiency in using calibration tools such as voltmeters, DMMs, ohmmeters equipment.
- Computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Relevant certifications in calibration or instrumentation are a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
