The operator should be able to answer the phone in a timely, courteous, and professional manner, and respond accordingly to any crisis situation. Must also be able to respond to Lifeline calls and take appropriate measures (at Lifeline base location only).
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be continuously alert and able to discern caller's needs to take quick and correct action.
- Must speak with clear diction at all times and have a high level of hearing and visual acuity.
