Job Summary:
Squire Boone Village is a renowned manufacturer of crystal rock candy who also supplies other candies, toys, jewelry, earth science items, minerals, rocks, and other items for wholesale customers all over the country, including theme parks, gift shops, and other well-known and visited tourist attractions.
Be a candy maker! The Candy Manufacturing Kitchen Worker will work in our Crystal Rock Candy department. The production shift is Monday thru Friday 6am to 2:30pm shift. No weekends required! We offer a friendly, clean, climate controlled work environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintains knowledge of production processes and equipment.
- Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and stored correctly.
- Prepping, coloring, flavoring, loading, inspecting, grading, handling, boxing, and continual cleaning
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly and safely learn production operations and machinery.
- Must be able to traverse the production facility.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to load, inspect, grade, box, and handle candy and other items.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds at a time.
