Nevada Made Marijuana is immediately hiring Gardeners to work in our state of the art cultivation facility, located in Laughlin, NV!
**Nevada Cultivation Agent card preferred for this position**
All applicants must pass an extensive background check, including fingerprinting.
Gardeners are responsible for monitoring, testing, and maintaining plant health during the cultivation process. This position involves physical demands such as walking, bending, standing, and/ or squatting for long periods of time. Occasional need to lift/ move up to 50lbs. Candidates must be able to
Scheduling flexibility for this position is required; candidates will be expected to alternate between swing shift and overnight hours based on a seasonal schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow all directions given by shift leads, managers, and facility directors
- Monitor and maintain plant health throughout the cultivation process
- Appropriately use and maintain equipment, systems, and tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Accurately complete logs, input necessary information into correct systems and databases
- Perform wellness checks on plants according to set standards and SOPs
- Observe and follow all company, local, and state laws, policies, and procedures regarding the cultivation and handling of cannabis
Qualifications:
- Experience working with plants, landscaping, or gardening preferred
- Open availability due to the rotating (or variable) light cycle schedules for the plants
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in small-group environments
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Ability to pass a background check including fingerprinting
- A valid driver’s license or ID
- Detail oriented
- Comfortable standing in one place for duration of shift
- Comfortable walking, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs for duration of shift
Job Type: Full-time
