CardioRenal Vision is a physician-led specialty group currently practicing in six states and we’ve just expanded into Oregon. We are seeking a Part-Time Cardiology Regional Medical Director to join our growing team. Our team is made up of clinicians dedicated to improving outcomes for medically complex patients through collaborative evidence-based care in the skilled nursing setting.
Position Overview:
The Cardiology Regional Medical Director will oversee and support a network of nurse practitioners and physician assistants who manage patients with heart disease in skilled nursing facilities. This physician leader will be actively engaged in:
- Supervising and mentoring advanced practice providers, including documentation review and education
- Guiding providers through challenging clinical cases
- Visiting new and established facilities to strengthen relationships and ensure clinical quality
- Collaborating with primary medical teams within the SNF
- Partnering with local hospitals to improve care transitions and patient outcomes
- Providing clinical leadership for program development and quality initiatives
- Being available daily (at minimum by phone) for clinical support and oversight
