Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living environments and a strong understanding of care plans tailored for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory care needs. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' overall well-being.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' conditions or behaviors to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
- Administer CPR and first aid as needed in emergency situations.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote their physical and mental health.
Requirements
- Previous experience in assisted living or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Skills in cooking and cleaning to maintain a healthy living space for clients.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or memory care needs is a plus.
- Strong observational skills to monitor clients' health and safety.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for this role.
