Schedule:
- Weekend Package (Fri. Sat. Sun.); 2pm - 6am
- Every other weekend required
What you’ll do as a Personal Companion:
- Provide care, supervision and support for elders in Assisted Living
- Assist with activities to enhance the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of tenants
- Provide companionship, friendship and emotional support to tenants during daily activities and during transition or difficult times
- Alert changes in condition of tenants to nurse managers
- Maintain tenant rights and confidentiality
What’s required as a Personal Companion:
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Must demonstrate a positive and professional work attitude in all aspects of performing job responsibilities
- CPR certificate must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- May obtain a Medication Manager Certificate
