St. Mary's Manor, a 17 bed CBRF, located in South Milwaukee, is now hiring caregivers on all three shifts. The facility has been in business for over 30 years. We provide the highest quality of care and won't settle for anything less.
First Shift: 7am-3pm, Full & Part-time
Second Shift: 3pm-11pm, Full & Part-time
Third shift: 11pm-7am, Full & Part-time
As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to our elderly residents. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life.
Duties:
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
Provide companionship and emotional support
Housekeeping tasks and laundry
Meal preparation/Cooking
Monitor and report changes in the residents condition to the RN
Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia.
Qualifications:
Must have at least have 2 years experience working as a caregiver in a CBRF
Knowledge of medication administration and ability to follow prescribed instructions
Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene practices
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with families, case managers and outside providers
Team player
Satisfactory attendance
Ability to provide compassionate care and exhibit patience
Must be CBRF certified in Standard Precautions, Medication Administration, First Aid and Fire Safety to even be considered
Requires a TB skin test within 90 days of hire
