Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in direct support, long-term care, or home care settings, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of those you assist.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to clients in their daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safety while lifting or transferring them as necessary.
• Monitor and record vital signs as required, reporting any changes in clients' health status to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of client information.
• Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in direct support, long-term care, or home care is preferred.
• Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to assist clients with daily living tasks while maintaining dignity and respect.
• Knowledge of basic health monitoring techniques, including taking vital signs.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for building rapport with clients.
• Ability to lift and assist individuals safely, following proper techniques to prevent injury.
• Familiarity with social work principles is a plus but not required.
