Case Associate
The Case Associate assists Case Managers in supporting homeless families in the Suburban New Hope Apartment Program by advocating for access to essential services such as housing, education, employment, and healthcare, while collaborating with school social workers and community partners.
Job Responsibilities
1. Responsible for assisting Case Managers in servicing homeless families in the Suburban New Hope Apartment Program;
2. Advocates for clients with regard to state/federal benefits, housing, education, child care, job training, job referral and/or treatment programs;
3. Works with school social workers to obtain services for clients and their families;
4. Responsible for completing all required documentation in accordance with agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies;
5. Responsible for maintaining up-to-date and accurate databases, as required by agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies;
6. Knows and complies with the laws and regulations relevant to the position and services;
7. Participates in community outreach efforts and attends community events to develop and maintain positive relationships with community partners to provide clients with resources;
8. Meets with each client as required by the Program or based on client needs;
9. Transports clients safely to public aid offices or other related appointments by operating the vehicle safely and obeying traffic laws.

Relevant Education:
Preferred: Associate's Degree in any of the social sciences
Minimum: High School with some college credits in any of the social sciences
Relevant Experience:
Preferred: 3+ years of experience with working with homeless population
Minimum:1-2 years of experience with working with homeless population

Compensation: $18.55-$22.70 / hour
