Job Classification: Caseworker – Assessment Unit
Salary: Commensurate with longevity and agency experience
Muskingum County Adult and Child Protective Services announces the position opening for a Caseworker to be located in the Assessment Unit and to be supervised by Sara Hillis. The appropriate and highly desired candidate shall demonstrate a high degree of mission adherence; provide intake and assessment services involving allegations of neglect, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse; complete all family assessment reports; prepare and file complaints, motions, and other court material in a timely manner; testify in court hearings when needed, write suspected crime reports and work with local authorities, etc.
It is anticipated that this position will be assigned traditional or alternative response cases and possibly family in need of services cases, depending upon the need of the agency.
The desired candidate must be willing to perform after-hours duty, related Adult and Child Welfare activities and other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and a valid driver’s license.
